New York Terriorist? 5/1/2010

In Terrorists, Uncategorized on May 2, 2010 at 1:21 pm

“A suicidal Pace University student sparked a terror scare early yesterday when he was found wandering in a subway tunnel beneath the East River.

Aaron Fetto, 20 — wearing an orange reflector vest and other transit-worker gear and carrying a quart-size bottle of cyanide tablets — told cops he was looking for an “isolated place in the subway system” to kill himself.

Transit workers found him on the track for the 4 train between Brooklyn and lower Manhattan at 5:30 a.m., police sources said. ” According to John Doyle of the New York Post 5/1/2010

The next days paper then added,

An unidentified T-shirt vendor, who is a Vietnam veteran, saw smoke billowing from a Nissan Pathfinder and alerted Police Officer Wayne Rhatigan, a mounted patrol cop, who looked inside the smoldering vehicle at around 6:30 p.m. on West 45th Street near Seventh Avenue in front of an entrance to the Minskoff Theatre , which houses the hugely popular Disney musical, Mayor Bloomberg said early this morning.

CAR BOMB CAUSES TERROR SCARE,
FORCES EVACUATION IN TIMES SQUARE

Why didn’t the NY Post or any other paper put these two events together?  The closing of the Subway by cyanide then blowing up times square on a Saturday night sounds like we are now  under a terrorist threat that is being covered up by someone. The cyanide suicide doesn’t make any scense because, why would you get gear and hike to a location to not be discovered to kill yourself?  The car bomb was discovered by a vigilant citizen of our country, not by security details.  Where is the homeland security department?  Where is President Obama?  Who are we fighting here and why is no credible new agency putting all this together?  May 1, 2010 could have been September 11, 2001 all over again in NYC.  Fear?  Ignoring what is happening won’t change that we just avoided another huge round of disasters.
