Misguided immigration law?

In Government Reforms, Obama on April 24, 2010 at 11:34 pm

The law, signed by Arizona’s Republican Governor Jan Brewer Friday, allows police to question and detain anyone in the southwestern border state they believe may be an illegal immigrant, even if they are not suspected of committing another crime.  It would also require anyone in the state suspected of being an illegal immigrant to show some kind of document proving citizenship, like a “green card” permanent residency document or a passport.  President Obama pronounced Arizona immigration law as “misguided” and to call on the Senate to address comprehensive reform on the issue quickly.  How is it misguided for the state of Arizona to take care of the laws the the federal government won’t?  No boarder fence.  Kidnappings, killings, drug smugglers, torture and an open boarder.  One Governor forces the Presidents hand and she is “misguided”.  No President Obama, you are the misguided leader here.  Your lack of leadership on the immigration front and forced the hand of the working people of the country you swore an oath to lead.  We the tax payers are once again left hanging with the cost of education for their children, the expense of (free) healthcare, welfare, security, extra police and private protection and you sir call the taxpayers and voters “misguided”.   Wow, the elections are just around the corner, lets see who is misguided.

Apparently 94 families asked the embassy for students transfer documents last month, compared to only three last year all from one little law that will be enforced. Doesn’t sound misguided!
